Now have 11" on the ground, and just found out that
a carpenter that put in new shelving in an apartment
ran a screw through a water pipe. Of course I found out the hard
way... leaking into apartments below.

Taking a warm-up and dry-the-clothes break right now,
with Dood laying on my arm watching me type this.

The snowfall (so far) today has now put this winter as the
2nd snowiest in history for my city and most of my area.

well I have definitely been happier. Our mill is going thru some shitty management/ownership and I am looking for different employment.
History?
I live 1 1/2 blocks from where I grew up. My house has been ours (Harpy plus 2 kids) for 10 years. My circle of fucking influence spans about a major city block! My communte is 5 minutes with not a single traffic light.
And now I may have to change this due to a sick mismanagment!
But at least I have a skilled trade to fall back on. But I sure as hell don't want to move 500 miles to a new place. DAMMIT. I hate change!

But there's no snow here and it's been a nice day.
Sorry about the pipe issue Hoss. That sucks more than the snow.

PE, wouldn't it be worth your while to stick with
your present employer even if it sucks? You seem
to be pretty settled in where you are now. Is it THAT bad?

P.S. That pipe issue turned out to be no big deal. Nothing like
the $40,000 damage by frozen/burst pipes that wiped out
2 occupied apts. This little leak just got some ceilings wet a little.
But I treat ALL leaks with urgency.

Got 15 inches and may get 1 or 2 more later tonight. Crying or Very sad

Oh Damn! That thing rocks. Not for me but if a person 'needs' a tattoo then that's a cool one.

Harpy? She'll always be one. Wonderful woman when it comes to cooking, sex and letting me fish but the drinking and video games she goes apeshit and I get tired of it.
My one little revolt, that's all.

BTW the work/mill is fine. Been there for 12 years, why throw it away for a bad coupla months. I just vented a little, that's all. Comfy is good. Change is scary!
